Library 2.0 Leadership Institute
Return to the Library 2.0 Leadership Drupal page
This is the wiki space for the Library Leadership Institute by sponsored by the School Library Systems of Genesee Valley, Monroe 1 and Monroe 2/Orleans BOCES. It is a six week long course designed to teach school librarians about Web 2.0 tools and how they can teach others about the opportunities these new technologies provide.
The word you are looking for is institute.
Technology Tutorials
These are very simple tutorials that will help you naviagate through some of the basic technology we are going to be using over the next 6 weeks.
Drupal - Drupal is the program that is being used to present our course. So, there is no actual "tutorial", right? (right, they are just about pages with information you will need. This is a light week! - MB)

Weekly Meeting Schedule
Yesterday on our group chat I mentioned a book about gaming and the positive implications. It is called "Don't Bother Me Mom--I'm Learning." by Marc Prensky. It was an easy read and eye opening - since I have no experience with gaming - unless you count my son's Webkin:) (Angela Boccuzzi-Reichert)
