Anne-Marie Gordon

Let's see...this is my 11th year at Livonia Primary. I'm a UB grad of the early 90's. (Yup..my library degree and the World Wide Web are about the same age!)  Last year I earned National Board Certification in Library Media--a grueling but immensely rewarding process. 

Since I'm five foot one, my only opportunity to be taller than my students is to work in a primary school, so here I am, in a pre-K--3rd school.  The library schedule is part flex.  The younger kids come every six days, while 2nd and 3rd come as needed.  It's a great school in a great district. 

I live two towns to the north of Livonia, in Honeoye Falls.  My husband is a teacher, too, at Fairport HS.  We have two teenage daughters, in 8th and 10th grades here in HF.   On snowy January mornings, we huddle around the TV and hope that all three districts will be closed for a snow day.

 My favorite authors are Terry Pratchett, Lois McMaster Bujold, Jasper Fforde...oh, and Dickens, Austen, and Shakespeare aren't bad either. 

I would definitely be in Hufflepuff.
